Hi, some of the basic differences between a BSc and BDes in Fashion Design is, first the course focus. A BSc programme is more focused on the technical and scientific elements of fashion production, such as its fabric properties and manufacturing processes. Meanwhile BDes is focused on the artistic and creative side of the Design.

The university hasn't released its data for 2024 placements but according to NIRF report for 2024, 120 UG (3-year) students were placed during Patna University placements in 2023. The median package for UG (3-year) courses ranged between INR 3.50 LPA . Therefore, a decent student can have a net positive return on investment at the university given the tuition fees of the BA programme is INR 10,400.

Patna University provides 1,320 seats in its BSc programme. These seats are provided across various specialisations and across affiliated colleges of the university. Out of all the affiliated colleges, Patna Science College offers the most amount of BSc seats with 725 seats, whereas Magadh Mahila College offers the least amount of seats with 270 seats. Candidates should check the university website to make an informed decision about the specialisation that they want to choose and the preffered college that they want to study in.

Patna University's website does not mention any application fees for candidates applying for admission into the programme. The only fee that the university website mentions for BSc is the tuition fee which is INR 10,400. Candidates have to pay some amount of the tuition fee to finalise their admission into the BSc programme. The candidates can have a look at the university website to find any additional costs regarding the programme.

Candidates must pass class 10+2 from a recognised educational board with minimum 55% or above to be eligible for the B.Sc Animation and Gaming program. It's a 3 year course. Overall fees for this course are 5-8 Lacs (Varies in different colleges).

A BSc in Hospitality course will give you a scientific approach (for e.g. looking at equipment, statistics, trends, etc.) whereas a BA will give more creative approach (for e.g. creating a memorable experience). However they are both equivalent degrees. Additionally, most degrees in hotel management and catering are BA's.
