Yes, Sri Univerity offers seat reservations for sports to BSc students. The eligibility criteria to get the reservation is those who have represented the state during the last three years at national level sports shall get 10% weightage of marks over and above the aggregate career marks.

The medium of teaching the BSc (Hons) and BSc course at Sri University is the regular mode, in which candidates are required to attend the class course inside the campus. In-person learning allows for more direct interaction with teachers and classmates. To get admission into the regular mode of BSc (Hons) & BSc courses at Sri University, candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from relevant stream and secure a valid score in SSU CET/ NEET/ JEE Main/ OJEE.

After completing the BSc application form and qualifying for the SSU CET at Sri University, the admission department releases the provisional admission letter to the selected students. The provisional admission is valid only till Sep 30, 2026. Beyond this date, the seat will be cancelled and considered vacant and no refund of the amount of the provisional admission will be done.

There is semester-wise subject list in the course curriculum. Course curriculum is curated in a way that ensures students get good knowledge of theory topics and exposure of real world topics through internship. The topics/subjects covered in the first semester of SSPU Pune BSc Data Science programme are:

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category students from the state of Maharashtra) are eligible for the courses. The applicants further have to go through the SSPU selection rounds to get admitted. SSPU may conduct a skill test/interview for selection. For BSc courses, SAT score is also accepted. Students who meet the eligibility criteria can visit the official website to apply. After final selection, admission fee can be paid for seat confirmation.
