For IISER Tirupati BSc course admission, candidates must have the below mentioned qualifications:
- Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024 or 2025 with Science stream from any board recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (CBSE) in India is eligible for IISER Tirupati BSc course.
Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.
- Candidates belonging to other categories are required to score a minimum of 60% in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent)

No, candidates cannot take admission in IISSER Tirupati BSc course without IISER Entrance Exam. Candidates willing to take admission in the MS-BS course at Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), must appear for the IISER entrance exam, also known as IISER aptitude test. Candidates who cleared their Class 12 in the Science stream are eligible to apply for the IISER entrance exam 2024. As per the IISER entrance exam pattern, there are a total of 60 objective questions that candidates need to complete in three hours duration.

Following the previous year trends and as per the updates mentioned on the IISER 2025 official website, IISER do not release IAT 2025 cut off marks. However, the exam officials based on the counselling registration done for admissions by the candidates, the exam officials releases the round wise IISER 2025 closing rank list.
IAT 2025 cut marks are generally the minimum marks which the IISER 2025 exam test takers need to score in order to get admissions in the programmes offered by the participating institutes.
