Yes, you are eligible. You can prepare for IIT JAM Exam by yourself also. IIT JAM is tough, but if you study well, then you can easily crack the exam.

There is no such fixed cutoff, other than a minimum of 75% required to apply for the course. Some courses like the Mathematics and Physics have an entrance test. In other streams, the cutoffs can be expected 92-93 for state boards and 95+ for ISC/CBSE candidates. There are secondary merit lists too and four different categories to apply from. Both courses have their own importance but I would go for BPT. Successful graduates of the course are lucratively employed in areas such as hospitals health institutes fitness centers private clinics etc. With an average annual initial salary ranging between INR 2 and 8 Lacs depending upon the candidates' expertise in the field and relevant skillset.
