The minimum level of education required to become a college professor is a Master's degree which can help an individual qualify to work as a professor at a community college. A doctoral degree is typically required to work as a full-time, tenure-track university professor. You should prepare yourself to earn an undergraduate degree in your chosen subject area, go to a graduate school, complete a Ph.D programme, conduct independent research, and write and publish articles in scholarly journals. In addition, you may need to gain teaching and research experience as a graduate assistant, or gain work experience in settings like governmenta

Yes it is required. In some universities you will be having maths for first 3 semesters and in some you will be having it only. For 2 years or so!
So it completely depends on which university you choose!
And coming to why maths I required here is the reason
1)To understand the process of sterilization you need to have basic knowledge of integration and differentiation.
2)In biotechnology one have to study about fermentator design & upscaling, bioprocesses, mass transfer, metabolic engineering, biochemistry, biophysics etc. So maths is required there!
3). For finding the estimation of dna, there is use of maths.
4). Calculate the compositio

Both the courses are viable choices as a higher study option after B.Sc biotechnology. You should pursue a subject which you feel comfortable studying, and where your interests lie. If you are a B.Sc student in biotechnology or any other biological sciences related fields, it is highly recommended that you pursue your M.Sc. The job opportunities for B.Sc graduates in a highly research oriented field as biotechnology are very less and most students tend to pursue their M.Sc in biotechnology or a specialised discipline of biotechnology, including M.Sc genetics.

Hi Veer Patel,
It will be difficult very honestly. And, also it depends on the college you are applying. You may avail a scholarship if you are applying to a mediocre college and your profile is very good according to them. But overall chances are less.
