Higher education in Physics helps the candidate to get in to high-designated jobs. They can also demand high salary packages as they gain experience and expertise.

A student seeking admission to B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. courses should have passed the Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto. For admission into B.Sc,the student should have studied the relevant subjects at +2 level (for Physical Sciences - MPC; for Biological Sciences BPC) while all students who have passed intermediate are eligible to apply for B.Com. & B.A. courses irrespective of the subjects studied at the Intermediate level.
(b). A student seeking admission to B.Sc. I Year course should have passed the qualifying examination with at least 40% marks in the optional subjects. S.C. & S.T. categories are eligible if they secure pass marks in the optional subjects.
(c). No candidate is permitted to pursue more than one course at a time in the same institution or different institutions.
(d). All students pursuing degree courses in Nizam College are eligible to enroll for the certificate and diploma courses introduced under UGC (COP) add-on scheme by the college.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
I. Admissions are made strictly on the basis of merit. On the date and time of the spot admission, when a candidate's name, marks, etc. are announced he/she has to produce the receipt of the application form to obtain entry into the admission room.
II. After verification of certificates and counseling, IN CASE OF BEING ALLOTED ADMISSION candidates are required to fill in the 'Admission Form', pay the fees ON THE SPOT and submit the form along with the Original Transfer Certificate and two sets of photocopies (duly attested) of the other certificates listed below and collect the Admission Slip.
a. Transfer Certificate from the Institution where the candidate has studied Intermediate or its equivalent.
b. Pass Certificate/Provisional Certificate of the qualifying examination.
c. Memorandum of Marks.
d. Study Certificate/Bonafide Certificate of School and Intermediate.
e. Proof of Local/Non-local status according to the rules in force. Annexure I & II).
f. B.C./S.C./S.T. Caste Certificates issued on or after 1-4-2015 by a competent authority through 'MEESEVA' only. (Annexure-III).
g. Latest Income Certificate issued on or after 1-4-2015 by a competent authority through 'MEESEVA' only.
h. Migration Certificate/No Objection Certificate in case of candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a board other than the Board of Intermediate, Government of Andhra Pradesh
