A total of about 510 seats are available spread along various specialisations. 510 students can do B.Tech at Starex University. Most of the specializations having 60 as the number of seats and a total of 10 different specializations as of now. However there may be some changes as per the university's need and numbers might fluctuate a bit.

In my opinion, VIT Chennai is better than HIMT college because
- the highest salary placement in VIT Chennai is 75 LPA and the highest salary placement in HIMT College is 4 LPA.
- VIT has 2 coarses for B Sc. and HIMT has only one i.e Nautical Science.
- Total fees in VIT for B Sc. is 2.40 Lacs whereas in HIMT is 9.75 Lacs i.e VIT is cheaper.
- NAAC Accreditation for VIT is 'A+' and there is no NAAC Accreditation for HIMT.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Sc. programme at Maharaja Agrasen College (MAC) require candidates to have completed their 10+2 education from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the Science stream. Additionally, candidates must also meet the age criteria set by the college.
For specific B.Sc. (Hons.) courses at MAC, here are the additional eligibility requirements:
B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics:
Candidates must have appeared for DU-JAT.
They should have 55% marks in average in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 50% in one compulsory language subject in 12th standard.
