There are two possibilities to B.Tech in Agriculture. First, you have completed 12th science with bio and second, you can do diploma in Agriculture on the basis of 10th.

Both B.Sc agriculture and B.Tech agriculture engineering are prospective as subjects. By doing B.Tech agriculture engineering, you can sit for GATE and pursue your M.Tech from IITs and get placed in private sector jobs with handsome pay scale.
You may also opt for jobs after your B.Tech. Many tractor companies, irrigation companies, farm machinery developers offer jobs to the freshers. On the other hand, after doing B.Sc agriculture, you can opt for jobs in SEED fertilizer and pesticide companies.

You can study further studies in Agricultural Engineering, there are many universities, many programs and many specializations. If you want to do research you may opt for MSc/PhD. Scope is good in countries like Canada, Netherlands, Japan etc. Everywhere the admission requirements are different. And if you want to study abroad prepare for study abroad entrance exams.
