10+2 with 60% with Group- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science. Admission to B.Sc. and B.Tech is entirely based on merit, no entrance test is conducted. Students with the highest scores are shortlisted for admission to TNAU. Students can apply for these courses by logging on to the official university website. A stipulated application fee of Rs.1000/- must be submitted by the candidates which can be paid online as well as offline.

There are various scholarships available for students given by the Government of India. State Governments and some colleges itself also give a scholarship to bright students. The fee Structure varies from college to college. General fee structure (average) is anywhere between INR 70,000-1,00,000 yearly.
