B.Tech is higher engineering in comparison to B.Sc. Job opportunities after B.Sc Industrial Chemistry are limited in comparison to BTRech Chemical engineering. India has very well developed Chemical Industry including Petroleum & gas both in Government and private sector. It is core sector with lot of Government and big corporate houses support. Chemical Engineers have good scope in India and abroad. Therefore, it is recommended that you opt for B.Tech Chemical Engineering over B.Sc Industrial Chemistry.
