The B.Tech in civil engineering at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay is equally good. 1. Raking: In the 2022 rankings, IIT Kharagpur is ranked fifth, while IIT Bombay is ranked third by NIRF. 2. Fees: Both institutions charge about Rs. 8 Lacs as their course fee for B.Tech CE. However, the hostel fee at IIT Bombay is 2.8 Lacs, compared to 1.32 Lacs at IIT Kharagpur. 3. Facilities: Both universities have amazing facilities. The hostel and campus at IIT Bombay are better and more student-friendly than those at IIT Kharagpur. 4. JEE Advanced exam conducted by IIT Madras. Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced two consecutive times. JEE Advanced is held in CBT mode and there are 2 papers in all.
