B.Tech Eligibility

For admission to the BTech course at JK Lakshmipat University - JKLU, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in Class 12, plus 60% in Mathematics. Candidates must also have valid scores in any of the accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main and others. 

To be eligible for the B.Tech programme at the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
• Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects taken together
• Be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age
• Meet the physical fitness criteria, including height, weight and medical standards

The eligibility criteria for BTech admissions at PSG College of Technology is that candidates should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate. The entrance exams accepted for the BTech course include TANCET and TNEA, Moreover, the duration of the course is for four years

BE/ BTech A pass in Class 12 TNEA

BSc A pass in Class 12 Merit-based (Class 12)

ME/ M.Tech Relevant UG degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate GATE/ TANCET

MBA Relevant UG degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate CAT/ MAT/ TANCET

The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programs at Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management are as follows:

• Passed 10+2 standard or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects.
• Obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects.
• At least 30% marks in English.
• Valid score/rank in WBJEE or JEE Main in the current academic year.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) in Surat are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum of 45% marks in three Science subjects from GSEB or CBSE/ISCE.
• Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects qualify as optional subjects

Candidates need to complete Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology / Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies with at least 45% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) can apply for Sant Baba Bhag Singh University BTech courses. However, the minimum aggregate requirement may vary from one course specialisation to another.
