B.Tech from Seacom Skills University requires applicants must be qualified to sit for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or JEE Main.SSU Admission Test marks are also considered for taking admission in Seacom Skills University. A graduation score from a recognised board qualifying in in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is also mandatory. They should have passed with 45%+ marks in class 12 to be eligible to take admission in B.Tech from Seacom Skills University.

The following are the requirements for Siliguri Institute of Technology's B.Tech programme:
- The intermediate (10+2) exam or its equivalent must have been passed by the candidates.
- With mathematics and physics as mandatory disciplines, a minimum of 45% in each subject is needed.
