For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering was 6556 which is very close to this range. This was for General category under all India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT.

Admission criteria and cutoff ranks can vary from year to year depending on several factors, including the number of applicants, available seats, and the overall performance of candidates. With a rank between 105,000 and 110,000, it may be challenging to secure admission in Assam University, Silchar for the BTech program. However, it's important to note that admission decisions are ultimately determined by the university based on their specific policies and requirements.

Last year, the DASA cut off went for 881 marks. For this year, if your score is above 880 then it is considerable and you can get into B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City. JEE Main scores are used to calculate the cutoff for admission to the B.Tech. programme at IIIT Sri City, and the NTA sets the cutoff.

Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech. First of all, the candidates must pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks of the total marks (mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in any stream. And secondly, candidates are required to appear in national-lavel entrance examination, for example JEE Main (mandatory for 2023 batch).
