At the undergraduate level, Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore offers BTech courses to students. A pass in Class 12 or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate is required to apply for BTech course offered at Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore. The accepted entrance exams are COMEDK UGETand KCET. Candidates must prepare according to the COMEDK UGET pattern, must follow COMEDK UGET preparation guidelines.

Candidates having a valid score in JEE (Main) will be directly selected for admission. Passed in the Diploma Examination in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved Institute with at least 50% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) Passed the B.Sc.

You need to aleast 194 cutoff to get application in Computer Science at Thiagarajar college of engineering. Either self supported or aided.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering was 6556 which is very close to this range. This was for General category under all India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT.
