B.Tech Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Food Technology in India are as follows:

1.  Age limit: There is no upper age limit for most B.Tech programs. However, the minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
2.  Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Some universities/institutes may also accept students with a Diploma in food technology or related fields.
3. Minimum marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
4.  Entrance Exam: Candidates must have appeared for national or state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, BITSAT, WBJEE, etc., and have obtained a valid score. Some universities/institutes may also conduct their entrance tests.

Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology admissions are offered in streams like engineering and architecture, computer application and IT, etc. Some of the courses offered for Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology admissions are B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc., M.Phil etc. Candidates wanting to take admission in B.Tech/B.Arch needs to appear for Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam commonly known as the AMU entrance test followed by counselling. It is a university level examination conducted by Aligarh Muslim University. The mode of application of the AMU Entrance Test is online. It is to be noted that there shall be one objective type paper of 150 marks comprising 150 questions on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The college offers admission to B.E. programmes of which classes are held in the evening- B.E. Civil Engineering Evening, B.E. Electrical Engineering Evening, and B.E. Mechanical Engineering Evening. Students have to appear for an admission test for Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology B.E. admissions. 

To be eligible for admission to NIE Institute of Technology (NIE IT) for the B.Tech program, candidates must fulfill certain academic criteria. To pursue a B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree at the Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIT), which is a part of the Indraprastha institution (IPU), in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, you must fulfil the conditions set forth by the institution.

For entrance to the B.Tech curriculum at GNIT, IPU, the following credentials are frequently needed:
