Alard University BTech selection criteria is entrance-based. Interested students must have completed Class 12 with 40% to 45% in the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ CS/ Electronics/ IT/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as optional subjects. As admissions are entrance-based, students need to provide either JEE Main/ MHTCET valid scores or appear for the ASET exam.

BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters.Class 12, candidates can apply for the BTech course. Admission to BTech is based on MGMU-CET, JEE Main, MHT CET and PERA CET. Apart from this, aspirants who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate 40% aggregate, in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply for the BTech course.

To qualify for Prakasam Engineering College's B.E./B.Tech program, you must:
- Pass the 10+2 physics, chemistry, and math qualifying exam.
- have at least 45% must be earned by OC candidates, and 40% by BC, MBC, SC, and ST candidates.
- Take the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam and score minimum valid marks.

If you want to go for B.Tech then it is mandatory for you to be passed out from 12th class with 45% and after this you have to appear for GUJCET or JEE Mains exams and need to clear them. They are being organized by the Admission committee for professional courses and after this counseling will be done where you will be allowed by the seat if you are an eligible candidate.

For B.E./B.Tech at SVKM's Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic, Mumbai, you should qualify as follows:
Qualifying Exam: Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Minimum Marks: Get at least 45% in 10+2 for OC candidates and 40% for BC/MBC/SC/ST candidates.
Entrance Exam: Appear for TNEA or JEE Main.

Full admission to B.Tech course you need to be a class 12 pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the respective subjects from recognised board. You must also have studied with the physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12th
Selection are through on the basis of your WBJEE score card. You must appear for the WBJEE exam, which is generally held in last week of April.
