B.Tech Eligibility

For admission to BTech at Hindustan University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The next step of the selection criteria is to qualify for an entrance exam. The university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE), which needs to be qualified with a valid score. This entrance exam is specifically conducted by HITS for admission of candidates to its BTech course. This exam is valid for both BTech and BTech (Lateral Entry) course. Admission to BTech (all specialisations) is based on the scores of a recognised national-level/ state-level entrance exam, failing which candidates will have to appear for an entrance test conducted by School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D Y Patil (deemed-to-be) university, Navi Mumbai.

Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology is a private institution established in 1983 by Ramrao Adik Education Society. It's one of the oldest and the finest engineering colleges in Navi Mumbai. Final admission to BTech is based on a rank obtained in JEE Main 2022.

The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in theory and practice of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board. The candidate must have appeared in JEE Main and also secured a rank in Paper – 1 of JEE (Main). The merit list for admission to the B.Tech program at PDEU shall be based on the rank/marks obtained in JEE (Main).

Yes, after Diploma students are eligible for B.Tech but there are less chances of getting any government or good private college with 59.96%. Diploma needs higher percentage to stand with the students of 12th class.
