B.Tech Eligibility

Students are largely chosen for the B.Tech programs at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Bengaluru, based on their academic standing and results on entrance exams. The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is the main exam for admission; however, results from national exams such as JEE Main may also be taken into account. Candidates are assessed by MIT based on their results on these tests as well as their academic standing from high school. The BTech selection criteria at Amrita Institution Nagercoil is based on the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2026 and JEE Mains percentile score. Apart from this, candidates must meet the last educational qualification set by the college. Aspirants must pass Class 12 with a 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Institute of Engineering and Technology GLA University is to pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Computer Science with at least 50% marks (45% for ST\SC) and 50% marks overall. As it is compulsory for the students to follow these rules and regulations before becoming a part of the college.
