Candidates need to complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised board to apply for Haridwar University BTech (Hons) programme. As per my knowledge, most of the B.Tech colleges are willing to take students with percentage (%) criteria. There are some of the colleges that take without 75% criteria are Rise Krishna Group of Institutions, Pace Engineering and Technology, Qis Institutions of Engineering and Technology at Ongole in Andhra Pradesh.

For persuading B.Tech at COER Roorkee, Candidate need to appear JEE MAINS exam and get at least 50 percentile in that as the closing rank is near about 5,00,000. Thus for 50 percentile, they need 31-40 marks out of 300. However, for Computer Science they need 70 percentile, i.e 41-50 marks out of 300. Additionally, candidates must have at least 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology.
