The selection process for BTech at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh as follows:-

1. Complete your Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology as your main subjects. Make sure you score at least 60% marks in total.

2. You must have a valid score in either JEE Main or the Chitkara University Engineering Entrance Test (CUET).

3. Register and actively participate in the Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh counselling process.

Chitkara University if famous for B.Tech courses or computer science specialisation(ai, full stack developer, cyber scurity, Data science Analytics, game design Ar, etc.) courses.First year total intake for B.Tech at Chitkar University, Himachal pradesh is 1000. and class size is 70. and that is decent as in mostly good college.

Gender percentace: Male 79% and Female 21%.

The girls to boys ratio is really good.

The Academic fees vary as in the first semester you have to pay 80k (70k + 10k ERP Fees that will be refunded in the last semester) and then from the second semester the Academic fees remain the same I. e. 70,000 INR per Semester and if you're Hosteller then you have to pay 33,300 INR per Semester additionally for the Hostel (laundry and mess included).

JEE Main cutoff of HPTU are not available. However the JEE Main ranks between 4-5 Lakhs are very good enough for getting admission here in B.Tech courses.

It is surely good!
Most of the faculty is doctorate
As far as placements are concerned, one can get placed in either
Government sector I. e Agriculture, Banking and more are recruiting graduates to fill up entry level posts. Private Sector- Graduates may find jobs as Jr. Managers at Plantations, as Executive at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agricultural Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc. I am a day scholar so don't know about hostel. Learning enriched environment You will get to learn through classroom sessions, seminars, expert talks, guest lectures and a lot more.

See, if you want take admission for B.Tech in any of the above colleges then you should select Chitkara University, Himachal campus. The environment you get here is very good. Away from the polluted city, it is situated near the mountains. You get fresh air which is an important thing. Talking about placements, the placements are good. Companies visit both campuses. You get equal opportunities to apply for the interview. In Himachal campus, the faculty is very good. The Punjab campus is very crowded as compared to Himachal campus. Dear Friend, Yes, you can obviously join for the course but before this please collect the below stated review from your seniors/faculty (as you are an alumni of the Himalayan University) -
1. Whether the course is available or not which you want.
2. The course fee is suitable in terms of ROI.
3. Placement analysis (take data from students & also from college).
4. Mode of training.
5. Whether the college provides any internship/live project. I think this will help you to judge further.
