Placements: Placements in college are pretty good. The average salary package offered is around 6.5-7.5 LPA, and it is offered to computers, electronics and ENC students. The highest salary package offered this year was 39 LPA, and it was offered by Microsoft to almost 6 students.

The faculty at JKLU is exceptionally very helpful and understanding to all the students. They do not discriminate students on the basis of marks. Everyone gets a fair chance to present themselves and submit the projects that they like. There are three departments in JKLU and the faculty in all the departments are good. There some faculty who reside on campus, so it is extra helpful to help such faculty as they tend to help you out in after the office hours and on the weekends. The professor are approachable and you can discuss your all kind issues with them.

Yes, the faculty is helpful at jklu. They help us out when we do not understand the concepts in a class by taking extra classes on the weekends or after all the classes of the day are over on weekdays. It is surprising to see all the profs put in so hard effort to cater to the needs of the students. I bet that you cannot find such helpful teachers in any college. The teachers here actually care for your personal growth and welfare rather than just themselves to curriculum and class work.

If you are getting CSE in Thapar Institute Of Engineering and Technology, then go and grab the opportunity blindly, because if you loose this chance then it will ne really bad for you. TIET is much better than Chandigarh University. I'm not saying that CU is not good but if you compare both universities, then Thapar Institute will be far ahead than Chandigarh University. By chance if you do not get CSE at Thapar, then you can come for CSE at Chandigarh University. I hope I've cleared all your doubts. For more visit: http://www.thapar.edu/.
