Yes, placements are based on your B.Tech performance. Many MNC's are taking students based on the knowledge that they have in their course. So, you can get seat if you have knowledge in your course. Develop your skills and based on your skills, you can get placement in many companies like MNCs.

Chandigarh university is NAAC-A+ university and known for its placements and facilities. Every year top companies visit cu and recruit students with best packages. UPES Dehradun is ranked 46 for MBA and 91 for the B.Tech programme by the NIRF in its 2021 rankings. The institute offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Law, Design, Business, Health Science, and Modern Media. In spite of that the placements at Chandigarh University are very good specially in aerospace engineering. About 95% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Most of the students get placed because Chandigarh University not only focuses on education but also on the overall development of students.

Hi, Placements here are pretty good. Almost all the students in CS and IT branches get placed. The highest salary package offered is around 12-15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Top recruiters here are TCS, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Infosys. Most of the companies will look for the candidates who has more than 55% through out the academic career. But some companies like ORACLE, INFOSYS and GOOGLE will be having 65% as cutoff. But these restrictions only applies if you apply for the job as a fresher. I would suggest you to complete any of the professional certification and join in a small/medium size company, Get the exposure of the work and how to implement your knowledge in real time projects.
