Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) was founded by the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 29 of 2006 and is recognised under 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Came into existence in 2006, the University was formerly known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, (1987-2006). The B.Tech placements at IIST are positive, offering decent job opportunities for graduates. According to the 2023 placement report which you can find on the website of the School of Petroleum Technology, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University the highest and average package offered were INR 38 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA respectively.
