There is no such strict upper age limit for pursuing the BTech Fire Safety Engineering course at reputed colleges and universities in India. However, most of the academic institutions want the candidates to be at least 16 years of age at the time of taking admission to BTech in Fire Safety Engineering.

Some universities may have other specific age requirements for admission, for which you should check the university websites for more information and better clarity because their admission guidelines may get revised as per the new academic session.

You can easily get admission to BTech in Fire Engineering after passing Class 12 in the Science background with PCM subjects and having secured at least 50 to 60 percent aggregate marks. Several colleges and universities also offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12; however, other popular institutes consider the performance in entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET, KEAM, MHT CET, etc. So, you need to work extra hard in order to get into those reputed academic institutions.

Best wishes for your future endeavors.

No, you cannot switch from regular BTech programme to distance mode as the government of India does not allow BTech courses to be offered in distance learning mode. Distance BTech is not allowed as it lacks practical training and lab work.
