For admission to a BTech programme at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, the aspirant must fulfill the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the applicants who have passed Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) are eligible for admission. Here's the list of some important documents you must carry during BTech distance education admission process at colleges in India:
• Class 12 mark sheet with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.
• Class 10 mark sheet (if applicable).
• A valid ID proof like Adhaar, Passport, PAN Card, etc.
• Migration and Character certificates, if required.
Some colleges may also ask for other documents for which you must carefully read their guidelines on the college website and then collect your documents accordingly at one place for the admission process.

There are no such strict age criteria for pursuing BTech in correspondence mode in India. But, taking into consideration the previous admission trends in distance BTech courses, students are usually between 17 years and 25 years of age at the time of taking admission.
Some universities may have certain age requirements for admission, it is not very common though. If you are a bright student with a good academic record and have successfully secured at least 50% marks in Class 12 board exams, you can apply for distance BTech degree courses.

Yes, BTech course is available at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College. The university offers BTech courses at the UG level. Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria to enroll for BTech course admission set by the college. Aspirants must pass Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% for Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only). JNEC admission process is entrance-based.

BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters.Class 12, candidates can apply for the BTech course. Admission to BTech is based on MGMU-CET, JEE Main, MHT CET and PERA CET. Apart from this, aspirants who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate 40% aggregate, in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply for the BTech course.
