Q. How to get seat in BMS College of Engineering?
A. Admission to the UG/PG courses in the college is entrance-based. The scores of national or state-level exams such as GATE, KCET, CMAT, and Karnataka PGCET are accepted for selection. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility are further shortlisted based on their scores in the course-specific entrance examination. It mainly includes two parts, first to fill out the application form on the college's official website and second, is to send the attached copies of documents and application fee with the downloaded application form to the BMSCE address.
Q. Can I get direct admission in BMSCE?
A. Admission to all the courses at BMS College of Engineering is through some entrance test. However, the college does offer direct admission through management quota only. As per some unofficial sources, there are 20% of seats reserved at BMSCE for management quota in Engineering courses. Hence, candidates without a valid rank can seek admission only through management quota.

A. Yes, the college offers four-year BTech courses in 17 specialisations. Admission to the UG-level courses is entrance-based. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements, i.e., have passed class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST & OBC category) can fill out the application. Based on the student's scores on the entrance test, the selection process is further carried out.
Q. BTech: Does BMS college accept JEE Mains?
A. No, as per the information available on the college website, it offer admission to BTech courses only through COMEDK UGET and KCET. COMEDK UGET is a national level exam conducted for admission in 190 unaided private engineering colleges of Karnataka. There is a multipurpose hall that is a part of the hostel complex. For the hostel fee structure contact the BMS College of Engineering admission office.
The hostel fees is approximately INR 1 lakh for a year and provide all the basic amenities such as bed, chair, table, cupboard, laundry, etc. And the availability of WI-FI is 24 hours a day.
