Jiwaji University offers a four-year BE programme which is considered equivalent to a BTech. At the time of admission to the BE programme at the university, candidates must present the following documents:

• Copy of counselling registration form
• Printout of score/merit obtained
• Marksheets of Class 10 and Class 12
• Caste Certificate
• Migration certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Income certificate for reserved category candidates
• MP domicile certificate
• EWS certificate from the competent authority
• PwD certificate from the competent authority
• J & K Migrant
• Affidavit for a gap in studies
• Two recent passport-size photographs

Pondicherry University has over 20+ affiliated colleges offering BTech courses. This amounts to an intake of 6,000+ seats for the BTech programme. Some of the colleges with prominent seat intakes include Christ Institute of Technology (formerly Dr. S.J.S. Paul Memorial College of Engineering and Technology), MVIT-Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology, and more. Out of all the affiliated colleges and institutes, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College (SMVEC), has the highest intake with 1380 seats.

For BTech admission at Pondicherry University, over 6000 seats are available. All these seats are available across multiple affiliated colleges of Pondicherry University. However, the distribution of seats depends on B.Tech specialisations. 

Yes, Pondicherry University offers a UG-level BTech programme. Under this programme, the students get to choose from various specialisations, including, Computer Science & Engineering, Energy Engineering, Material Science & Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering. All these courses are offered for a duration of four years and in full-time mode. Candidates seeking admission must have a valid score in the CUET examination.

KIIT offers BTech as one of its popular programmes, offered as 3-5 years of a full-time course, depending on the specialisation opted for. It provides 700+ seats for Computer Engineering and 300+ seats for Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering. Apart from these, the Institute offers 100+ seats in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering and 50+ seats in Biotechnology and Chemical Technology.

Candidates must have finished 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science, as well as have a valid score from state-level entrance exams or JEE Main to be eligible for a B.Tech program at C.U.Shah University.
