For 2022, the cut-off was 89651 for the General category candidates in the All India quota for Discontinued (Feb 2023) -BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) in RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. For female candidates in the general category under All India quota 0 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

  • The JEE Main score of the candidate
  • The category of the candidate
  • The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Business System at RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya other than General category are - 114463 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 103402 and closing rank was 114463. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 0 and 0. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Business System in RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Yes, a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering programme is offered by VJTI, and a programme in Electronics Engineering that is related to Electrical Engineering is also offered. 

There is also an Electronics and Telecommunacation programe available, which based on Computer scienc and Electronix Engineering. You have a choice among them all.

Yes, in B Tech CSE, you'll learn about computer hardware and software fundamentals. In B.Rech IT, however, the emphasis is on software development rather than hardware. Subjects in CSE are more theoretical. While subjects in IT teach you practical software development.
