For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Information Technology was 11939, which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIIT Lucknow.

IIT Jammu placements 2023 concluded recently with an overall 85% placement rate. Other than this, if we compare the past year's cutoff trends for the premium specialisations such as CSE and EE, the competition to get into the institute has increased making it a better option. Other than these, the institute offers amenities, such as well-maintained labs, sport-specific playgrounds, etc. Talking about the infrastructure, IIT Jammu is one of the few IITs of its generation to have a permanent campus and not a temporary or borrowed campus.
