To be eligible for a BTech in ECE, you typically need:

  • Minimum marks  (often around 50 percent) in 10+2 with Physics, Math, and Chemistry.
  • Qualifying entrance exams like JEE Main or state-level engineering exams.

You must prepare well for the exam and make sure to check the eligibility requirements of the institutions you're targeting to avoid any last minute confusion at the time of admission. You must go through the syllabus well and start preparing for the entrance test a few months before so that there is enough time for revision.

No, Osmania University doesn't have any provision for direct admission to BTech programmes. Candidates seeking admission to Osmania University must clear the course-specific entrance test. Based on the entrance test scores, selected candidates are then called for a counselling round depending upon the course. If candidates have valid scores in any of the entrance exams TS EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh ECET and TSEdCET are eligible to get admission into BE and BTech courses.
