Admission to the course is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores. Students seeking admission must qualify both these entrance exams for admission to IIT Kharagpur. BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE Main through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) i.e., (nta.ac.in). Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. Next candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee. Candidates who have passed Diploma or BSc in relevant stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) or equivalent grade can apply for Brainware University BTech (LE) course. Additionally, candidates must qualify Brainware Eligibility Test for admission to BTech (LE) course. Brainware University BTech (LE) fee is INR 2.21 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fees might include components other than tuition fees. 

Brainware University admission to BTech course is based on BET score. Candidates must complete Class 12 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) and at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) or equivalent grade in relevant subjects to apply for BTech course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates are required to pay a fee to confirm their seat in the university. Brainware University BTech fee is INR 4.65 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fees might include components other than tuition fees.

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with a 60% aggregate with minimum 45% aggregate in any three subjects taken together with Physics & Mathematics (mandatory) and either (Chemistry/CS/Electronics/IT/Biology/Informatics Practice/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects/ Agriculture/ Engg. Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship) with individual pass marks in both theory and practical & pass marks in English to apply for BTech at Brainware University.
