There are many engineering exams in India. You can apply for anyone. If you qualify the entrance exam then you will get admission in B.Tech. You can apply for following examinations. Here are some entrance exams in which you can apply after completing class 12th.

Not sure about your rank but, no one knows the minimum marks required to qualify it. In the end all we get to know is our rank. A PDF file is published on the IMUCET website which enlists all the candidates who have qualified the CET along with their rank, name, application number, category. You also get a pdf of rank Certificate.
