There are about 300+ BTech CSE colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 294 colleges are privately owned, 38 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private entities own 3 colleges. JEE Main is the most accepting entrance exam in top BTech Colleges in Uttar Pradesh for Computer Science Engineering. At VIT Vellore, the B.Tech Biotechnology programme has historically required a closing rank of about 13,500, meaning that a much lower rank is needed for Category 1 admission. The cutoff for B.Tech at VJTI Mumbai in Computer Science Engineering for the 2024 academic year is not yet available. However, the previous year's cutoff for the 2023 academic year was at 99.82 which is extremely high.

No, the students can afford pursuing the course of B.Tech at the GCT college. For a student to complete the course of 4 years, the approximate budget should be around INR 1 lacs since the fees varies from INR 20,000 to 22,000. For mess, it takes around INR 2 to 3 thousand per month. The hostel fees is around INR 6,000 per year. With 4 years hostel, one can complete his education in less than INR 2 lacs. Scholarships and Loans are also provided for the students who are unable to affor the fees hence it becomes easier for the students to pursue the course.

The average package for B.Tech Civil Engineering at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research is around INR 4-6 LPA .
