If we check combined syllabus of BCA and MCA then it is often equivalent to Bachelor degree of engineering. Study is all about syllabus, if you are going to conquer wide range and meaningful syllabus then it will be definitely helpful in career. Usually done after BCA MCA courses are done by students as they are lengthier and more expensive than the M.Sc. IT courses. Also, MCA graduates have an edge over M.Sc. Graduates as the curriculum of MCA includes management modules also.

If possible, make a general EWS Certificate and then apply with EWS quota to have a little chance to get admission in okay type college. According to the cut-off for various categories in the past three years (2019, 2020, 2021), the cut-offs for Joint Entrance Examination Main for GENERAL category is as follows:
2019: 89.7
2020: 90.3765335
2021: 87.8992241
So, according to the trends of previous years, you are not eligible for any college as you do not qualify the JEE Main examination incase of general rank. You can always try the next year with more efforts if you want to.

As told by other people here the cut off ranks for SRM are almost correct and the IBC also get the following problems
But to be honest SRM is not really a great option for B.Tech and here is why that is true:-
As you compare the investment and the return you get after 4 years, they are nowhere near. I mean why would somebody give 16 lakhs to study in SRM knowing that the avg. package is of 3 to 3.5 Lakhs and that too for CSE branch, which is by the way their best branch and all of this statistical data is for Main Campus. I was excited too after I got my result for SRMJEE, it was 1602 rank but after going through all the evidences, I co

I'm from outside Madhya Pradesh. So I don't qualify for their state reserved quota.
One of my frinds from my hometown got 95 in the year 2021 in JEE mains. She got LNCT CS as what you want.
One of my friends got 35 and he got mechanical. I got 145 and I got mechanical.
I'd suggest not to go for LNCT. Although you'd find good faculties there but it's not worth it. Try somewhere else

If you have very good marks and rank in CET and PU exam go for some other college which are afflicted with VTU. It is worth for doing engineering. Reva university is deemed one and they have their own syllabus. Faculties are good and supportive in computer science department. Placements are more for CS dept compared to other departments.

There is no cut-off criteria in BTKIT.
Hello, I am final year student of BTKIT. In BTKIT anyone can get admission in any stream or course weather it is b. Tech or any other professional courses. They provide scholarships on the basis of past academic performance.
Thank you
