The cutoff list for latest spce was about 97 around for spot rounds for core branches and for tech might be 98 or 98.5 some what in spot (means 3 Rd round)

IEM Kolkata maintains a good placement record over years. Every year, a huge number of students participate in the placement drive & get hired. The institute has concluded its 2021 placement drive. If you are getting any chance to go for iits and take any courses from there, don't think for the courses. At the end of the day it is you who matters. IITs will provide you that valuable crowd that too good community that you will be going to cheer for your whole life. Coming to your question Mathematics and computing is the backbone of any tech related and fintech, edtech related company so don't worry about placements. Just go for it and you will be doing something great in future.
