JNU is one of the esteemed University India has. In 2021 itself it holds the position of All India Rank 2 among all the universities. It offers dual degree courses in computer science and Engineering and also in Electronics and Communication Engineering which means it provide bachelor and masters course together in 5 year duration.

85 percent of seats are reserved for Maharashtra students and 15 percent of seats are reserved for other state students.
There are no management quota seats available in the institutes.

In next 510 years (even presently), IT is going to be most predominant Industry. Suppose you have a opening wherein the role is to manage a team of 15 techies/engineers, who would you prefer? Some who is an expert in management or someone who has knowledge of both Tech+Management? My take is, unless your planning on joining industry such as Finance, Investment banking, Admin, Sales & Marketing etc. Go for the B.Tech + MBA. Moreover, the B.Tech will enhance your numerical/statistical skills whichll help you in cracking the entrance examinations for MBA.

2- Candidates have to register themselves for the CAP, which is controlled by DTE, Maharashtra.

1- Passed 12th standard from any recognized Education Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
2- Obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks along with any other third subject or IB board with a minimum score of 24.
Selection process:
1- Selection will be based on the merit of class 12th best of 3 subjects score comprising of Physics and maths as compulsory subjects any other third subject with the highest score.
2- JEE Main (2021/2022) score.
3- SAT Score.
In absence of any of the qualifying scores, a Personal Interview shall be conducted.
