Firstly, there is no placement for first year, but they will make you prepare and give lots of exposure so that you can know about placement benefit which will be coming in 3rd year and 4th year.

B.Arch is a 5 yr course with almost zero campus placements. Only IITs and very few NITs offer campus placement. On the other hand, if you are doing B.Tech in CSE, ECE or IT from a reputed IIT or NIT, then the placement opportunities are unlimited. So my choice is B.Tech.

College of Engineering Pune is the best for placements and Fee structure for B.Tech courses. So COEP is recommendable here.

No. You cannot take admission in B.Tech computer Engineering without giving JEE or CET. You have to appear for atleast any one of the entrance exam for being eligible for admission.

Hi. Yes, a bio student can definitely pursue B.Tech in CSE branch, there is no restriction to it. You can pursue B.Tech in computer Science after 12th, if you have Maths in Class 12th. All BIPC/Biology students are eligible to get admission in Engineering courses such as Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ECE, EEE etc.
