These days in almost all the states in India more than 40% seats in engineering colleges are not getting filled. Hence if you apply for admission in that state where you are domiciled you are bound to get admission in an engineering College somewhere or the other, but I would like to advise you to desist from doing so since there are no job prospects for engineers in general. Last year more than 50% of the fresh engineering graduates could not find jobs. In view of this I would like to advise you to go for graduation in the subject which you like the most so that you will enjoy studying get good marks and subsequently after graduation get a job also. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing my B.Sc. In agriculture, I do have my friends who are pursuing the same. I would say Lovely professional University School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped Laboratories, Library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. LPU is First private University in India which is apprived by ICAR. The eligibillity for B.Sc. Agriculture is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture. LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture students done research on Project On Floating Island-The project involves the introduction of floating islands for water management and improving sanitation and regulation of water quality & restoration of the water table with the help of biological agents. Students hitherto organic yields of Spinach, Cauliflowers, Cabbage, Turnip, Radish, Carrots have been well accepted by local consumers at University, who have liked these for quality, taste, appearance and appeal. They have also produced organic wheat.

Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training is a private institute under Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research (MAEER). The institute is located in Pune and was established in 2001. MANET is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping), Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. MANET Pune offers B.Tech. Degree course in Marine Engineering and B.Sc. Degree course in Nautical Science. It also offers B.Tech Lateral entry admission to the candidates. Candidates applying for B.Tech and B.Sc. Courses have to fill and submit the form the official website of the institute and send it to the MANET. To apply for the B.Tech and B.Sc. Degree course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with 60% marks in aggregate.
