Yes as per your marks in JEE Mains, you do have a strong chance to get admission in NIT. As you have OCB-NCL Certificate then you can easily get NITs or any other best B.Tech college.

Hello Rugved,
You have stated that you have obtained about 95 percentile in JEE Mains. Then you go on to ask two questions. Firstly whether you will get admission in Sardar Patel College of Engineering at Mumbai based on this entrance exam and secondly about lateral admission in this same institution. Let me clarify. Admissions to all the engineering colleges in Maharashtra except perhaps IIT and NIT are based on the entrance exam conducted by the government of Maharashtra called mht CET. The CET score doesn't tell you much. It just tells you how well you scored in the test. But that's not what the colleges require. What colleges ask for is your CET rank, which basically tells them how well you performed amongst others. You are given a rank based on the combined score of the CET test and board marks (equal weightage). So just a good score in CET is not sufficient. Your board marks also count.
