Most of the top State Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu offers B.Tech admission on the basis TNEA counselling conducted on the basis of 12th marks. Colleges like MIT Chennai, College of Engineering Anna University Chennai, PSG College of Technology Coimbatore and Thiagarajar College of Engineering Madurai etc. Are few of them. SASTRA is another one which is also offering B.Tech courses on the basis of 12th marks.

As per the AICTE guidelines, Doing B.E/B.Tech through distance/ correspondence mode from anywhere is not valid for employment and higher education purpose. Hence never be pursue.

B.Sc. And B.Tech can be done after the 12th Science. While B.Ed. Needs a Bachelor degree. So B.Ed can not be done after the 12th. The B.Tech course can be the right option. As an engineer, you have a choice to either join the Executive Branch, Education Branch or the Technical Branches. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology from any recognised university in the concerned discipline is the eligibility criteria, so yes you can. I will cost you around 1.25 Lacs.
