Admission criteria and Intake : The Institute has an intake of 60 students each year. The admission to the two-year programme is through CMAT conducted by the AICTE, New Delhi.Eligibility : 10+2+3 degree in any branch of study or equivalent pattern recognised by the UGC & AIU with minimum 50% marks in aggregate at degree level. For B.Tech Biotechnology you need a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying JEE Mains or any such entrance exam conducted by the university you want to take admission.
