Yes, you can complete your B.Tech after a gap of one year. If you had already taken admission then you will have to restart. Please ask your college regarding this.

MTech placement is good, but it's not better than BTech placement in PES University. You can also access the placement records from the college website.

You can go to any private college you want but the thing is that you have to work hard to get better knowledge. Also, you can drop for 1 year and give the main exam again to improve your percentile in order to get an NIT or IIT.
