5. Work experience : 10%
6. Regional-Eastern States (7 sisters) reservation : 3%
7. ESCS category : 2%
8. Gender (Female Candidates Only) : 3%
So from above 10% weightage is given to PI only, which can be recovered from your work experience. The BIMTECH has an special clause for work experience, please read carefully. Different colleges have different procedure. It may so happen that you have to start from UG based on your 12th and your Diploma is put to no use. But different countries also have different procedure. Seek help here
