Eligibility requirement to enter the Government Food Sector jobs:
The eligibility requirements purely depend on the position for which applications are invited from candidates. For instance, in the aforesaid positions, FCI called for applications from candidates with professional qualification like CFA/ACS/AICWA/ACA for the position of Deputy General Manager (Accounts), while for the position of Assistant General Manager (legal), candidates with a degree in law were invited to apply. What can be the pay scale in Government organizations in the food sector? For the aforesaid positions, the pay scale fixed for Deputy Manager positions was Rs. 24900-50500, while for Assistant General Manager positions it was fixed as Rs. 20600-46500. Scope of Food Sector in India:
The food processing sector, which is a wing of the Food sector alone is creating 64 job opportunities indirectly and 18 job opportunities directly every year and this industry is currently employing among 35 million people indirectly and 13 million people indirectly. The government of India is also encouraging this industry to improve its value addition from 20% to 30% and to improve its processing level from 6% to 20%, which in turn is expected to create more and more employment opportunities in the future.

Yes, you can do it. Science is one of the streams in class 11th which the students have to take up once they successfully pass out of their Class 10th. It mainly consists of the subjects : Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Biology is also an option which can be taken in the Medical Stream. Now once you pass out of your Class 12th with the Science stream, you are eligible to take up graduation in any stream except medical (If you have not studied Biology). So if you take up B.Sc. Physics/Chemistry/Maths, this would be considered as the degree in Science stream/subjects. But coming to the B.Tech thing, it is Bachelors in Technology. This is also a Science background graduation programme, but the Degree in Science cannot be considered equal to the degree in B.Tech
B.Sc is of 3 years but B.Tech is of 4 years. Also B.Sc. Is a Science graduation, but B.Tech is a technical course. So B.Tech is more valued.
