After B.Tech in mechanical engineering doing M.Sc. In physics may not give you any direct tangible benefits. It will better to opt for M.Tech in specialisation of your choice.

Please check for your eligibility to pursue this course from the criteria mentioned below. The eligibility criteria for this course in top colleges like Christ University-Bangalore, St Stephen's College-New Delhi, Loyola College-Chennai, and Mount Carmel College-Bangalore is graduation in any discipline with mathematics and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate, however, institutes prefer students with B.Sc. /BE/B.Tech degree. Thank you.

Yes you are eligible. But in my opinion it is not good because computer Science is different from maths. Both are different subjects. It's better you to study MCA or M.Tech computer Science. If you are much interested in M.Sc. Maths, you better to start preparation for PG entrance exams like PGCET. And for M.Tech you can write PGECET entrance exam for state wide colleges and universities. For IIT and NIT GATE.

1 While teaching in class room, you should keep some concentration and you should try to understand what the teacher is teaching.
2 And if you find any difficulty while understanding there itself you should ask your doubt.
3 After the clarification of doubt, you better to practice those problems and practice the models which is relevant to them. If you practice twice or thrice it will be easy to perform good in the examination.
