Yes, Lateral Entry possible. For 2nd Year Lateral Entry: - B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) candidates with 60% marks in 4-year Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of Ship Building Technology, Goa (or); 3-year Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the AMET University, Chennai. Or, 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in class 10th/12th Exam. The candidate should have completed the Diploma within its stipulated duration of 4 years or 3 years as the case may be. For 3rd Year Lateral Entry: - 3rd Year B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering). B.Sc. (Ship-building and Repair) with at least 60% marks overall and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in class 10th/12th Examination. The candidate should have completed the degree within the stipulated period of 3 years. Thank you.

Common Eligibility Criteria for all the PG Diploma Courses of C-DAC
Graduate in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. BE / BTech / 4-year BSc Engg / AMIE / DoEACC B Level) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation. OR
Post Graduate Degree in Engineering Sciences with corresponding basic degree (e.g. MSc in Computer Science, IT, Electronics)
In addition to the common eligibility criteria given above, candidates with the course-specific qualifications mentioned in Table below are ALSO ELIGIBLE for the particular courses. Minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination is also stated. The minimum percentage of marks will be considered as per the norms of the university from where the candidate has graduated.
