RT in Chemistry on your 12 th marksheet generally refers to Repeat Theory, whereby, you had failed in understanding the theory part of the Chemistry test. Unfortunately, with forty-two percent in your ISC 12th board exam, you would likely not be eligible for B.Tech admission at AMU (Aligarh Muslim University). AMU's eligibility criteria for B.Tech typically require a minimum of fifty percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or equivalent subjects) in your 10+2 examination from a recognised board. It's always best to check their official admission prospectus for the most current and precise requirements for the specific academic year you're applying.

To get admitted to a B.Tech program based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test), candidates generally need to have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, with a minimum aggregate score (often around 50% or 60%, but this can vary by institution). Additionally, they must appear for the relevant CUET exam and secure a score that meets the cutoff of the specific university or college.
