As you mentioned that you're weak in coding that doesn't mean you can't strengthen your skills on it, all you have to do is working hard for it . Many of the students doesn't know anything about coding culture but once they get familiar to it they starts developing their skills on it. If you are getting opportunities to get a better option definitely you should go but if you're interested about pursuing your career in ECE you should definitely go with it as it has a vast exposure to the tech field.

To get into BTech at GIET Gunupur University, you'll need to take an entrance exam. JEE Main scores are used for 50% of seats (register for OJEE counseling). The other 50% are filled through GIETEE (their entrance exam) or other national-level exams. You'll also need to meet the minimum marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Math

To get into BTech at GBPUAT, you need a good JEE Main rank. They prioritize rank over 10+2 marks (considered for tie-breakers).
Selection Process:
- Apply and score well on JEE Main.
- Register for state counseling (Uttarakhand Technical University).
- 85% seats for Uttarakhand, 15% All India.
Additional Notes:
- Cut-off rank varies year-to-year.
- Agricultural Engineering (All India) needs a separate ICAR exam.
