Inside JNEC: A student's perspective.

Placements: In this college, about 15–25% of students in a batch manage to get campus placement each year. Companies like TCH, Infosys and Yardi reach students during campus placements. The highest package received by any student ranges around 5,50,000 per year, and the lowest one goes around 2,00,000 per year, with the average package offered being around 3,00,000 per year. In the case of internships, almost 40%–50% of students per class get internships and are capable of working in the industry.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is great; saying it is one of the best in town would not be an overstatement. The college building is well maintained and in good shape. The classrooms are very spacious, clean and well ventilated. The computer labs in the college are maintained and up-to-date, the systems work properly and there is a table internet connection at all times. Computer labs also have air conditioning facilities. Other labs, like Chemistry lab and Physics lab are also up-to-date, well maintained and have all the required facilities. The hostel facilities are also decent; rooms are neat, clean properly ventilated and have all the required facilities like hot water, Wi-Fi, etc. Mess facility are also available and are good.

Faculty: The teaching facility is nice. All the teachers are well qualified; most of them are postgraduates or pursuing their PhDs. The staff is also very friendly; they are easy to approach and they are always willing to listen to the doubts of students. The curriculum is also up-to-date and extremely relevant. The college ensures that the students stay up-to-date with the ongoing demands of the industry. The semester exams are moderately difficult, so if a student studies on a daily basis, it won't be much harder for him/her to manage to pass the exams.

Other: I chose this course because of the undying interest I have in the field of computer sciences. The best thing about this course is the overwhelming demand for IT and CS professionals in the industry. The college has an annual gathering called Razzmataz, which is a 3-day cultural event. There are many different activities, like Character Day, DJ Night, Cultural Night, etc.

Good college for engineering at JNEC.

Placements: The placement record of the college is excellent. 70–80% of students get at least one full-time job or internship. The average package is 4 LPA and the highest is 15 LPA. Internship recruiting companies are A4 Technologies and SAS Technologies.

Infrastructure: The college has massive infrastructure and a garden on campus. Wi-Fi is available everywhere and the computer labs and workshops are well maintained and clean. The hostels are clean and big with healthy mess food. The canteen is big with good seating arrangements and good food. There are big cricket, tennis, and kabaddi courts for sports.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They organized events like engineer day, yoga day, and ISRO visits for extracurricular activities. The course is designed by the college itself. We have our own university. Exams are difficult to pass. 60–70% of students get all clear in their final semester exams.

Satisfied by the college placements and campus life.

Placements: In the on-campus placement of my class, 60% of students got placed; the highest package was INR 12 LPA, and the average package was INR 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amphora, TCS, Cognizant, Jio, etc. 40% of students got unpaid internships from Cognizant. The top role offered by Amphora is software development.

Infrastructure: The college is famous for its massive campus and its quality of education. In our department, each student got a separate PC in the computer lab for practicing and hands-on learning of new skills. The quality of canteen food is the best. For sports like cricket, hollyball, basketball, and kabbadi, courts are on the ground.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified; they encourage a stress-free environment, and their quality of teaching was the best. The course includes some industry-relevant skills like dot-net, data analysis, machine learning, etc. Some specific teachers conduct weekly exams for their respective subjects, but by college, there are three exams in every semester: the final exam, the midterm exam, and class tests.

MGM is a good college with an excellent campus area and good facilities.

Placements: Anyone with marks of more than 50% in the 12th board exams can be qualified. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Amazon, etc., visit our campus. Many students get internships.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. All labs have more than 200 PCs. Air-conditioners and projectors are available in classrooms. Labs are well equipped. More than 8,000 books are available in the library. The quality of the food is good. Sports facilities are available. MGM Hospital is conveniently located on campus.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course makes students industry-ready. Our teachers help students prepare for interviews and selection tests. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because of its immense scope. We can learn all kinds of relevant and practical things in this course.

The campus atmosphere, teaching and placements are good.

Placements: More than half of the students got placed in different MNCs with the base package of 3.5LPA and upto 10 LPA of highest package for this branch. Maximum students got placed in Cognizant, Persistent and TCS. 80 to 85% placements were placed smoothly by following the rules and regulations designed by the training and placement department.

Infrastructure: The college had the best infrastructure in my opinion with a good auditorium and a Library. The Labs were properly organized to learn in a practical way. The classrooms were good with the ventilation and proper space within it. Hostels were secure and properly organized.

Faculty: The Teachers were very supportive and encouraging to do and try new things with respect to curriculum and extra curricular activities. The course was relevant and organized. The syllabus and other sessions made the students industry ready. Semester exams were good.

I am satisfied by the college till date because faculty are good and so are the students.

Placements: Overall placements are good in our college with good salary packages offered to our students. Around 190 and odd students got placed through training and placement cell the previous year. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA whereas the highest salary package offered was 14 LPA which is worthy. Skills are what you require to be placed. Aptitude and communication skills are also important.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is quite good but expensive in our college. It is preferred to take room outside as it is pocket-friendly. The infrastructure of the college is the best among other colleges in the Aurangabad district. It is located in the city an expensive area. The college is easily reachable. JNEC is a trustworthy and peaceful place.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and the minimum qualification is of master's whereas most of the teachers are Ph.D. or postgraduate doctorates in their respective fields. The passing criteria are 40%. Attendance is compulsory in this college. With 75% theory and 100% practical, one can easily crack semesters but hardly get ranked.

Other: Events are organised by the university and seniors as well as the college side too. Covid has brought a break to this but would definitely rock the college again. No scholarships are provided in this college.

There are many clubs which provide a great college environment.

Placements: From our IT batch, almost 40%-50% of the students got placed. From them, almost 15%-20% of the students got placed in core companies. The rest of the students got placed with customer support, networking, business development, etc., roles. The average salary package offered to all students who got placed would be below 2.5 LPA. I got placed in Collabera in the networking domain with a salary package of 1.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is amazing in our college. All the labs are well-equipped, and classrooms are also up to the mark. The library is the best feature of our college. The hostel is decent, and there are amazing canteen and food counters. Our college is very good at providing opportunities for sports and games.

Faculty: All the teachers here are very helpful, highly qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. They all have completed their PhDs, and their teaching quality and methodology are amazing. They also provide a great platform for students to discuss their ideas and thoughts. Every teacher helps academically weak students every week, whether they have a problem with soft skills or syllabus.

Other: The environment is very pleasing and good here. You can rely on our college for a job if you have the quality and skills.
