NIFT has two levels of entrance exam. The first level is the CAT & GAT (creative and general ability test) this essentially checks your English, maths, analytical, design and sketching skills. There is no minimum age restriction. However, there is maximum age which 23 in case of general category. NIFT is the national level exam for fashion designing course admission in government college of fashion design like NIFT DELHI, NIFT BOMBAY, etc. You have to qualify with very good marks as well as sufficient for getting admission in these colleges. After you qualify this exam you nay get any NIFT like Delhi, Bombay etc.
